AFCD and Reef Check Foundation have launched "Reef Check Hong Kong" App to support the survey work of volunteer divers. Reef Check divers can use it at any time to access the essential information needed for conducting surveys, including the locations of the 33 survey sites, coral coverage rates, common indicator species and diving safety guidelines. Recently, we have also added a new feature that allows users to report coral bleaching. The App includes photos of more than 40 species of marine organisms, including reef-building corals, reef fish and invertebrates. Citizens interested in marine ecology are encouraged to use the App to learn about Hong Kong's corals and other common marine organisms!
