Description:
It is a large goby with a flattened head, blunt snout and yellowish belly. There is a dark band from lower margin of eye to preopercule and narrow dark lines on second dorsal and caudal fins. Body light brown and is generally lighter in colour than other Glossogobius species and lacks darkened areas on pelvic and anal fins.
