Description:
Spotty Band Goby is a relatively large, cylindrical, greyish-coloured goby with unremarkable sparse dotted longitudinal lines on sides. There is a black spot on first dorsal fin between first and second rays and two dots on pectoral fin base. The most distinctive characteristics of the fish is the presence of tiny black dots on nape and a stripe running across snout to lower jaw.
